Time keeps drawing nearer for the RTB event. We currently have 22 registrations. From this point forward it is a battle to outraise the teams around us. Even 3 or 4 sign ups can moves us in the ranks (and get us more money), so please keep working to get friends and family signed up. Remember you can choose to participate or be a sleep-in. Zack Elliott will be teaching the Fingerprinting Merit Badge to the first 20 people who sign up in Band.  He is teaching this merit badge in conjunction with Troops 1621 and 621.

The Crossover Campout will be April 11-13 at Bell Conservation Club (BCC).  The campout is for ALL Scouts. 

We will focus on advancements needed by the 1st year Scouts: first aid, cooking, Totin' Chip (knife safety), and maybe fishing if time allows. 

Summer Camp 2025 - Ransburg Scout Reservation June 22-28 - Activity Schedule/Merit Badge Class List Now Available, portal will open April 13th at 12pm to enter class choices - a $50 deposit is required before selecting merit badges.  I will hold a meeting on April 7th to help select merit badges.

Class B orders will start Monday, April 7th!!

Annually we sell Class B apparel: t-shirts (short and long sleeve), dri-fit shirts (short and long sleeve), and sweatshirts (zipped and hoodies). Scouts are sometimes permitted to wear a Class B to a meeting instead of their uniform (Class A).  In that situation, any camping or Scout shirt is considered a Class B.  Ordering a Class B Troop 245 shirt/sweatshirt is not required.

Troop 245 once again has the opportunity to participate in a service project with Home View Health and Rehab (651 S. State St, Franklin IN). 

The Troop will be laying down new mulch and other light grounds work April 5th from 9am-2pm.  Lunch will be provided.
